Streets Heaver Provide Choose and Book Solution to Centre for Sight

Streets Heaver today announced a new contract to provide its Compucare Choose and Book solution to the Centre for Sight in East Grinstead. The Centre for Sight is an international centre of excellence for ophthalmology, and Compucare will be installed at the clinic to provide a directly bookable solution for NHS patients via Choose and Book.

The Centre for Sight already has a thriving private business, but also wanted to provide a service for elective NHS care.  To do this, the centre needed to become part of the Choose and Book service and have subsequently undertaken all of the criteria to be recognised by their local Strategic Health Authorities and Primary Care Trusts as a qualified provider.  In order to meet the technological requirements for the service, the centre needed to be able to publish its consultants’ appointment availability to Choose and Book via the N3 network. Streets Heaver’s Choose and Book module interfaces electronically with Choose and Book and enables GPs to book appointments for their patients directly within the Compucare solution.

Compucare will be used in the Centre for Sight from 1st April 2012.
