Clinical Manager

Therapy management system- Clinical Manager SQL is the latest evolution of our popular suite of programs for therapy management. It is now provided on the MSQL server database.

It continues to provide simple intuitive access for planning, recording and administration of patient episodes but incorporates additional functionality, scalability and security to meet the ever more demanding requirements of the NHS. It is available with interfaces to most PAS and common third party systems and has been approved for linking to the National Care Record under NPfit.

Clinical Manager SQL can be used by a single department or several departments and displayed over a wide area network. Departments to benefit include:

This module supports multiple clinics of mixed type and works quickly in multi-user environments. Appointments can be either allocated visually or automated according to the patient’s availability. The resource management facilities provide for the management of rooms or equipment. Appointments can be booked in single or multiple slots and also linked where multi-disciplinary appointments are required. Correspondence can be automated and communication achieved by letter, email or text messaging. Rescheduling is simple and links to the waiting list management system. Clinic lists are easily printed or emailed and “check-in” screens and custom reports complete the picture.

Reporting has been redeveloped around Microsoft Reporting Services and now provides for simple to use templates for easy user customisation and formatting. Specialist reports include: waiting list management, first contact, end outcomes, Korner reports, waiting periods analysis and referral status. Reports can be output in a variety of formats including Excel, PDF and CSV. Third party report generators can also be used on the MSQL server database.

Access to the system is available through the program’s own 6 digit login screen or directly from the Windows server login. The system meets the NHS standard security requirements for person based software systems in healthcare. At program login, available departments, menu choices and other options are automatically configured. Security access levels are determined by the locally set profile of the user or the Windows security access profile.

Customisation is achieved through the use of parameters which can be set on or off. Fields can also be turned off if not required and mandatory fields selected by the client, all without programming.

Clinical Manager SQL can be fully integrated with MS Office. We can also provide our interfacing engine to enable links to third party systems including PAS and the National Care Record.

A full user manual is provided and an extensive (Windows style) help line is available throughout the program. We also provide telephone and on-line support either directly or over NHS Net.

Remote data collection can be achieved using wireless tablet PCs or notebooks. Alternatively data can be collected remotely on Pocket PC or Palm computers using our PalmCall software and then downloaded onto the main system.
