Patient and Clinical Management
Compucare is a modular system and can be configured to fulfil the demands of both the smaller clinic and large hospital, from the handling of the initial referral through to outpatient/inpatient booking, then discharge and finally billing. Being highly configurable, it only presents users with the options they need to perform their duties.
The patient pathway can be fully recorded and a full electronic patient record maintained. In addition a patient notepad maintains a record of all notes on a patient’s progress. Apart from specific modules, there are core features which support standard correspondence, forms, e-mail, SMS text messages and report generation. Full integration to Microsoft Word and Excel are provided. Further links are facilitated to other leading third party products, for example, pathology, pharmacy, document imaging and radiology systems.
Business Management
Managers can maintain current information on activity and costs. As higher standards of independent care are expected, Compucare helps managers meet those standards by providing an accurate and up to date picture of hospital activity and profitability.
Compucare’s contract management module simplifies often complex arrangements with insurers and purchasers and provides easy access to contractural arrangements. Users can define the necessary parameters for insurers and automate the process, producing accurate and timely invoices.
Running period ends are simplicity itself and can be accomplished within minutes, even for the largest of organisations. Compucare also links to most Windows based accounting systems, especially beneficial for NHS Trusts and overseas customers who may prefer to choose their own accounts package.
