Key Updates for Compucare Clinician for Azure & Compucare Ward

This year saw major strides in the evolution of Compucare’s clinical ecosystem, with significant enhancements across both Compucare Clinician for Azure and Compucare Ward to support more efficient, intuitive and high‑quality care delivery. The latest version of Compucare Clinician for Azure introduces a powerful, clinician‑friendly environment designed to simplify both administrative and clinical workflows. Highlights include the new Clinician/MedSec Journal, providing a centralised view of daily activity, and a suite of NIVA‑powered features such as Daily Digest summaries, simplified clinical rewrites, and concise clinical notes. Clinicians can now manage assessments, record and outcome appointments, upload documentation and update patient information more easily, all within a secure and user‑centred platform.

In parallel, Compucare Ward has undergone a digital transformation to deliver a modern, tablet‑ready inpatient solution secured via Azure. New capabilities such as NEWS2 Observations, a streamlined Ward Journal App, and a fully digitised inpatient booklet support accurate monitoring and consistent documentation. Looking ahead, the platform will expand further with automated Pathways for patient forms, a digital Fluid Balance chart, inpatient and daycase Drug Administration tools, and a centralised Bed Board for managing occupied beds and patient movements. Together, Compucare Clinician for Azure and Compucare Ward now offer a cohesive, future‑ready foundation that enhances clinical efficiency and supports safe inpatient care.

Our Charity Work

This year, the Streets Heaver team proudly exceeded their fundraising goal, reaching £2,308 for St Barnabas Hospice against a target of £2,000. Through charity boxing matches, golf days, raffles, half marathons, inflatable runs, padel tournaments and litter picks, the whole organisation came together to support an important local cause, demonstrating the team’s commitment to community impact and positive change.

Having seen the remarkable impact of the Lincoln City Foundation, we have pledged £12,500 to support their Fighting Fit cancer rehabilitation programme throughout 2025. We will also continue our commitment as ‘Friends of the Foundation’ and through dedicated volunteering days.

This year we have chosen to support LIVES in Lincolnshire as our Charity of the Year. LIVES are volunteer first responders, providing rapid emergency care in communities across Lincolnshire. They are entirely charity-funded. By choosing LIVES, we’re coming together to support an incredible organisation that saves lives every day
