Meet the team – say hi to Joanna

By Holly Johnson, Marketing Executive

Meet Joanna

We believe a company is only as good as its people, and we know how to spot a good egg.

The talented professionals behind the delivery of Compucare are a group of dedicated, motivated and skilled experts who inspire Streets Heaver to be better every day. And we’re incredibly proud of them.

So, without further ado, meet Joanna, Streets Heavers’ multi-talented Accounts/Admin Assistant / Car Park Manager / Fire Marshal / Head Tea and Coffee Buyerer / Christmas Party Organiser / Chief Laminator…

What was your first job and how did you get into your current field of work?

The first job I ever had was a weekend job at Quality Save, which I loved. There’s nothing more satisfying than fully stocked shelves. My first ‘proper’ job was at the University of Manchester as the Student Financial Support Officer. I was responsible for allocating all the hardship funds and loans. I have always been interested in accounts and finance and I love spreadsheets.

What do you enjoy about working at Streets Heaver?

Getting to work with spreadsheets and learning from the greatest teacher ever, Hana! I also love how friendly and helpful everyone is around the company, you really do get the feeling that it’s one big team.

What never fails to make you sad or disappointed?

I really don’t like being around people that moan and complain constantly. Also, people that don’t know what the national speed limit is.

What was the last book you read? Did you enjoy it?

Vigilante by Kerry Wilkinson.

I have read a few of his books now and I’m really enjoying them. They are about a Detective in Manchester. I am also reading the Level 3 AAT books, but they are not as exciting.

Which four famous people (living or dead) would you invite to your next dinner party?

Vin Diesel, Peter Kay, Stephen Mulhern and Jesus.

Tea or Coffee? And how do you take it?

Tea…strong, black with one sugar.

What is your favourite joke or one you have heard most recently?

My new favourite joke is one my 7 year old daughter told me the other day:

  • Why don’t you give Elsa a balloon?
  • Because she’ll let it go…

What has been one of the greatest moments in your life so far?

I was extremely proud of myself for passing Level 2 of the AAT and getting my motorbike licence…oh, and not forgetting having my two gorgeous kids ????

Finally, if you could be any superhero, who would it be and why?

I’ve been thinking about this for way too long now. My immediate answer was Ironman, so I’m going to stick with it. He seems to have it all; although I haven’t seen End Game, so have no idea if he keeps it all.
