The Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards were held at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on Thursday 26th May. The inaugural event saw 100s of attendees from top businesses across Greater Lincolnshire. With 11 awards in total on the night, Streets Heaver had tough local competition from four other finalists in our category. This award showcased companies that have achieved success whilst maintaining the core values of a family business.

We are extremely proud to have been crowned winners for the category as it reflects exactly what the Company stands for. Since 1986, Streets Heaver has shown great strength in employee retention and recently celebrated seven staff members’ Long Service milestone achievements. This success is a result of building a workforce that shares the same core values throughout the years.

A second-generation family-run business

In recent years, Streets Heaver has seen significant company growth with a 50% staff increase since 2020. Our hospital management software solution, Compucare, has also since been implemented in to even more hospitals and clinics across the UK.

Streets Heaver are dedicated to supporting staff wellbeing and personal development. We continue to nurture employees towards achieving their very best and have seen huge progress in building a company culture that truly reflects our community spirit. By supporting our staff, we are able to deliver first-rate customer support and further enhance our comprehensive software.

The award was collected on behalf of Streets Heaver by Lead Software Developer, James Brining and Marketing Executive, Holly Johnson. Holly reflected on the big win:

“To be named ‘Family Business of the Year’ recognises just how valued you feel to work at Streets Heaver. Everyone looks out for each other, and personal development is extremely prevalent.

This award represents how much dedication has gone into creating a supportive environment and evolving our culture to reflect our family values.”
