Streets Heaver Highly Commended for ‘Innovation in Healthcare’ Award
On October 15th, the team at Streets Heaver were thrilled to find out Compycare had been awarded Highly Commended in the ‘Innovation in Healthcare’ category at the virtual Lincolnshire Technology & Innovation Awards 2020.
The annual event celebrates and recognises innovative tech companies from across the county. After being postponed due to the pandemic, the awards night went ahead via an online platform at the revised date of Thursday 15th October.
We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the virtual awards ceremony alongside the local community to celebrate the true resilience we’ve seen this year. And, we are thrilled to have been named runner up in our category. Second only to the vital lincolnshire first aid charity, LIVES.
2020: A Year Of Innovation & Growth
The ‘Innovation in Healthcare’ category recognises companies who have innovated to make a positive impact within their business or the healthcare sector as a whole in 2019/20. Our industry-leading healthcare software, Compucare, is continuously developed to create new innovations that benefit those who use it. For this reason, we’re proud to have been recognised in this category.
Thanks to our industry knowledge, workshops with clients and attention to change, we have introduced a number of innovative enhancements to the Compucare solution over the last year.
This includes Electronic Discharge to free up staff time and optimise data safety and Electronic Prescribing: Compucare’s electronic prescriptions have increased patient safety by warning and preventing invalid drug combinations. Current medication is cross-referenced in both the prescribing and dispensing process. We have also brought out specialist apps for operating theatre, clinicians, and patients to provide simplified and mobile access.
More recently, we introduced integration to facilitate video conferencing with Compucare to help users innovate their own operations in the wake of the pandemic.
Celebrating Health Tech Innovations
Streets Heaver has also recently been nationally recognised in the LaingBuisson Awards in the ‘Innovation in Health Tech’ Category.
The LaingBuisson Awards celebrate businesses across the UK that set new standards of excellence within their industries. Now in its 15th year, the awards celebrate industry excellence in a range of categories. Winners will be announced at the ceremony in London, which has now been delayed until April next year.
